The Child Relief Program of Action Relief Foundation works to identify vulnerable children early and help connect them and their families with appropriate healthcare, rehabilitation, nutrition, and educational support.
Why Early Action Matters
Every year, more than 1.7 million children in India are estimated to be born with birth defects, including Cleft Lip & Palate, Down Syndrome, congenital hearing loss, and other conditions. Millions more face challenges related to malnutrition, developmental delays, disabilities, limited healthcare, rehabilitation, and access to education.
When these challenges are identified late or left unsupported, they can affect a child's health, learning, development, independence, and quality of life.

03 - Rehabilitation
We promote access to appropriate rehabilitation and developmental support to help children improve their mobility, communication, functional abilities, independence, and participation in everyday life.
We also recognise that children may need continued support after treatment, making follow-up and family involvement an important part of the journey.
04 - Inclusive Education
We work towards helping eligible children access Anganwadis, schools, educational materials, learning support, remedial support, and inclusive educational opportunities according to their individual needs.
We also encourage families and communities to understand that disability or health conditions should not automatically become a barrier to education.
